The reborn 2026 Charger is the most practical muscle car you can buy — five seats, standard all-wheel drive, and a 22.7 cu ft hatch that shames every trunked rival — wrapped around a 420-hp twin-turbo six or a 670-hp electric Scat Pack. What it costs you is money: 20 MPG combined and premium fuel run about $2,900 a year, a mid-$50k typical transaction depreciates roughly $30,250 in five years, and the warranty is the industry floor at 3/36 and 5/60. Reliability is an open question on a second-year platform with three brand-new powertrains, and crash-test agencies haven't rated this generation yet. Buy it for the space, the AWD grip and the enormous incentives on the hood — not for a cheap or worry-free five years.
