The 2026 Kia EV6 is the driver's choice among mainstream electric crossovers: 320 hp and roughly 4.6 seconds to 60 mph in the volume dual-motor version, an 800-volt system that refills 10-80% in about 18 minutes, and around $850 a year in electricity instead of the $2,500-plus a gas compact SUV burns. What you pay for that is space and money — 24.4 cu ft behind the rear seats is less than almost any gas rival, rear visibility is genuinely poor, and a projected 44% resale value at five years plus roughly $2,500-a-year insurance make it expensive to own despite cheap fuel. At about $50,075 for the volume Wind RWD it also costs more than the mechanically identical Hyundai Ioniq 5, which gives you more room for less money. Buy the EV6 if you want the sharpest-driving, fastest-charging EV in the class and can live in a smaller cargo hold.
