The 2026 Silverado EV is the most usable electric pickup on sale if you can stomach the money: 493 miles of EPA range on the volume LT, 12,500 lbs of towing, 775 lb-ft the instant you touch the pedal, and a 10.2 kW PowerBase outlet system that runs a jobsite without a generator. The Multi-Flex Midgate turns a short 5'11" bed into nearly 11 feet of load floor, and the back seat (44.3 in of legroom) is the roomiest in any full-size truck. The catch is ownership cost — a mid-$70K volume trim, roughly $2,950/yr to insure, an estimated 42% resale at five years, and a payload rating (about 1,800 lbs) below a gas Silverado. Buy it for range, quiet, and power export; don't buy it expecting the money back.
